The core set pits away teams from the Federation and the Borg against each other in the Battle of Wolf 359. The expansions allow you to add Romulan and Klingon landing parties to the mix.
In the core set, you either lead Riker's landing party into the aftermath of the Battle of Wolf 359 to search for information that will defeat the Borg to save Earth, or you join Locutus of Borg and the Borg collective to assimilate your opposition. To complete your goals, you conduct espionage, fight in glorious battle, or assimilate distinctiveness. But you're not alone. To survive, you'll need to work together, keep your cool, and stay frosty to fight off relentless Xenomorph ambushes and get out of there alive.
Players can play up to six different missions, taking them into different areas from the Hadley’s Hope terraforming facility to the deep, dark recesses of an xenomorph nest. Aliens also offers an exciting campaign mode to play four of the missions linked together, so players will need to fight relentless xenomorph attacks and keep each other alive all the way to the end of the campaign. The remaining two missions are purely about survival, it’s kill or be killed. The players are dropped into the game with nothing more than a pistol. They will need to scavenge weapons and gear while hordes of Xenomorph aliens are trying to get at them. How long can you survive against the odds?

This expansion adds two new factions, the Ixians and the Tleilaxu, to the Dune boardgame.
Tleilaxu: Led by a small council of Tleilaxu Masters - the fanatic, xenophobic Tleilaxu were tolerated because of their useful genetic engineering superiority. Although underestimated and loathed by others, they hoped to someday dominate all.
Ixian: The cyborg, Prince Rhombur of House Vernius, leads the Ixians, masters of manufacturing and technologies only they know how to deploy.
Both the Ixians and the Tleilaxu are integral to the economy of CHOAM and the Imperium. The royal family of Ix had once been one of the wealthiest in the Imperium. Because of a successful invasion of Ix by the Tleilaxu and the Emperor’s Sardaukar, and then, after many years, the liberation of Ix by Ixian and Atreides forces, the Ixians and the Tleilaxu are mortal enemies.
This expansion also introduces new game mechanics to help you gain advantages over your rivals.

The StuG III (Sturmgeschütz III) assault gun was one of Germany’s most produced vehicles during World War II. Based on the versatile Panzer III hull, it had an armoured superstructure or upper hull instead of a turret. Removing the turret allowed engineers to mount the powerful 7.5 cm Pak 39 L/48 gun, making it a powerful tank hunter.
The StuG III Ausf. G Expansion Pack adds a new tank type for players to employ in their platoons, the tank destroyer. When shooting from cover, tank destroyers are more likely to shrug off incoming enemy fire. Combined this with a Survivability of 2, the StuG III Ausf. G is best suited to lie in wait, providing covering fire to other tanks in the platoon.
The M3 Lee was a medium tank, used by both the U.S. and British forces (where it had the designation M3 Grant) and saw use in the battles of North Africa. It was quite unique in that it mounted a 75mm gun in the hull and a smaller 37mm gun in a small top turret above the superstructure.
The M3 Lee Expansion Pack gives players a tank with a very similar stat line to its successor, the M4A1 Sherman. It features with a good mix of Mobility, Initiative and Survivability, whilst the fixed main gun and lower Initiative results in a lower point cost making it a good choice for gamers on a budget.
The SU-100 is a Soviet tank destroyer based off the extensively produced T-34 and T-34-85 chassis. Produced from September 1944 through June 1945, it saw service in the Red Army all the way through to the end of the war in Berlin and beyond. Combining well sloped armour and a deadly 100mm D10S gun, they were nicknamed ‘cat-killers’ for their ability to know out heavy German tanks like the Panther and Tiger.
The SU-100 Expansion Pack is the second tank destroyer to join the World of Tanks: Miniatures Game and brings new tactical challenges for players and opponents. The Firepower stat of 6 is currently unmatched by any other tank in the game.
The Valentine is a British infantry tank, built in a variety of marks (or variants) during the war. Used extensively in the battles of North Africa it had a reputation for being a well-protected vehicle, capable of operating under heavy enemy fire. As the war progressed the little Valentine was surpassed by larger tanks, capable of mounting heavier guns and more armour.
The Valentine Expansion Pack brings another first to the World of Tanks Miniatures Game, being the first light tank. Traditionally light tanks combine high speed with the ability to scout out and distract enemy tanks, providing friendly tanks with an easier kill.
